GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

Has anyone been to the Galapagos Islands?
Just watched a documentary on the Galapagos... and I'm more than motivated to go!

The islands are spectacular.  Smaller than the Hawaiian Islands, but has its own beauty comparable to Hawaii.  I've always heard about the Galapagos and seen tiny ads to go there  in magazines; but this BBC Documentary really grabbed me!  Especially if you like nature, and seeing new and intersting places, its worth seeing this documentary.

Its daunting and exciting to think of the Galapagos... a tiny archepelago in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of South/Central America; yet, as tiny as it is, it has the most interesting creatures and fascinating landscapes!

  1. The Galapagos Islands are the most incredible living museum of evolutionary changes, with a huge variety of endemic species (birds, land and sea animals, plants) and landscapes not seen anywhere else.
