I've lighted a candle which now sits in front of me. The light flickers in waves that seem to go out for an imperceptible second, only to return again like magic.
The radiance of the light shines through my orange candle. I can see the light flickering through the outer wax shell, creating a sunset of orange, yellow, and red hues.
I catch a glimpse of the flame as it tries to toss itself up and out of the candle's top. With each attempt at getting out of its waxy shell, the flame seems to dig itself deeper and deeper into its very own demise.
